Brow Lift

As we age, unsightly wrinkle lines may appear on the forehead and frown lines between the brows can make us look angry or “too serious.” Skin relaxation may cause the eyebrows to drop, hooding our upper eyelids and making us look tired. If you are bothered by these signs of aging in the brow region, a brow lift may be right for you.

Eyelid Surgery

An upper eyelid lift involves removing a strip of skin from the natural crease of the upper eyelid. The effect of this is to remove excess skin that is folding over and onto the upper eyelashes and to tighten any crepie skin. Also, any excess fat that creates a bulge may also be removed.

A lower eyelid lift involves removing a strip of skin and muscle from just below the eyelid margin and removing any lower eyelid fat that is forming a bag. This flattens the contour of the lower eyelid while tightening any crepie skin.

This is an outpatient procedure with local or general anesthesia. The average duration time of the procedure is about 1 to 1.5 hours and recovery time is between 5-7 days.

Ear Surgery including earlobe repair

The otoplasty procedure allows “pinning back” of the ear, making the ear less visible from the front. The upper, middle, and lower parts of the ear may protrude differently on each side, so we customize the plan to ensure a symmetric, normal-looking end result.

This is an outpatient procedure with local or general anesthesia. The average duration time of the procedure is about 3 hours. Typical at home recovery time is between 1 to 2 weeks.

In addition to otoplasty, Dr. Pierce offers earlobe repair. This could be due to split earlobes, elongated earlobes, or other.
