About the Practice
Desert Plastic Surgery, PC was founded almost 40 years ago. Dr. Pierce joined Desert Plastic Surgery, PC in 2001 and is currently the sole plastic surgeon in the practice.
Christina Pierce
Christina is a retired High School Mathematics teacher who had been the practice manager at Desert Plastic Surgery since 2015. In Addition to running the practice, she acts as a patient care coordinator and scheduler. She has a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science and an Associate’s degree in Business Technology.
Christina is a great resource for our Breast Implant Illness/Explant patients as she was explanted in 2019. She can explain the entire explant process and can relate to the issues with BII. In her spare time, Christina enjoys traveling, fishing, cooking and spending time with our Dachshunds.
Mike Kunes
Mike has been at Desert Plastic Surgery since 2016 but has known Dr. Pierce since the 1990s. Mike works at the front desk and helps with appointments and surgery scheduling. He has a diverse background including undergraduate studies at Yale University, military service in the Air Force and a Law Degree from ASU. He is also a professional musician.
Sarah Walczak
Sarah is the newest member of Desert Plastic Surgery but she has been in the medical field, including working in the surgical, aesthetic and laser fields, since 1998. Sarah will prepare you for your upcoming surgery and will be involved in your postoperative care. She is very thorough and hard working as is an invaluable asset to Desert Plastic Surgery. She has also participated in numerous medical missions across the world.
